The Milan-based artist takes the mundane subject of a bird and uses a great “dripping” technique that results in a piece that can be reminiscent of both the futuristic or retro days. Whichever time period you see, the pieces and Bongiovanni are certainly making their mark on the present.

At a glance, the pieces look like ordinary images that have been photoshopped or manipulated and stretched, but in reality are oil on canvas paintings that appear as if the paint is dripping off the bird and page.
