Early Life and Education
Géza von Géczy was born on March 4, 1897, in Budapest, Hungary.
He began his musical training at the Budapest Academy of Music under renowned teacher Jenő Hubay.
Concertmaster and Early Career
From 1919, von Géczy served as concertmaster of the Budapest Opera.
